Gesture Video Control is a Chrome extension that lets you control TikTok videos using hand gestures detected by your webcam. Your privacy is important to us.
The extension accesses your webcam solely to detect hand gestures using MediaPipe hand tracking. All camera processing happens entirely on your device. No images, video frames, or camera data are ever transmitted, stored, or sent to any server.
Authentication: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password through Firebase Authentication. This is used solely to identify your account and manage your subscription status.
Preferences: Your settings (gesture hold time, cooldown, mode) are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.sync.
Usage count: A daily gesture count is stored locally to enforce the free tier limit. This data is not sent to any server.
We do not collect browsing history, personal information beyond your email, camera footage, TikTok activity, cookies, or any form of analytics or tracking data.
Firebase Authentication: Used for user login. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase Firestore: Stores your account status (email, premium status, registration date). No other data is stored.
Stripe: Payment processing for premium subscriptions is handled by Stripe. We do not store or access your payment information. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your data is used exclusively for the functionality of this extension.
Your account data is retained in Firebase as long as your account exists. You can request deletion by contacting us.
